Woolworths Bad Quality Products

I bought a pair of shoes from Woolworths in October, wore them twice and they started to fall apart.
I wanted to return the shoes but was told i could not do so because I lost my receipt
I am highly disappointed in the quality standards that Woolworths (a once trusted brand) and how drastically they have dropped, after this incident I am very skeptical about their products and this is sad because i used to love the store.
