As it was month end I was not expecting the poor environment which accompanied my shopping experience at Mr Price Strubensvalley. As there was no air conditioning the store remained hot and humid, in addition the store had a putrid smell in the back area of the bottom floor and the ques are hopelessly too long. I waited 45 minutes before I was assisted for payment for the items I intended to purchase. I witnessed a incident involving a customer and I'm appalled that the staff were unwilling to assist the customer and laughed at the person in question opposed to assisting them with calling the floor manager. How is it justifiable that the staff can laugh at a serious matter in terms of customer service and ignore customers? Should they not be taken to task for appalling service? Disgusted!!
