My wife and I are on holiday in Cape Town. On arrival on Monday, we decided to do some shopping prior to checking into our hotel. We visited Access Park in Kenilworth. Staff were very rude from when we entered the store. A woman - we can only assume - is the manager ordered staff in a loud, booming voice to follow suspicious customers around the store. This included my wife, who was followed throughout the store while browsing. Other customers were made to feel the same and were treated no better than criminals.
When we needed assistance getting a garmet hung high on the rails, no staff offered to help. We found the metal rail used by staff and tried to get the item ourselves. A staff member was quick to rush over and grab the object out of my hand, asking rudely what I wanted. We are aware the centre is a selection of factory stores but items at Mr Price are at full price and customers deserve to be treated with respect from staff. We encountered many foreign visitors and I shudder to think of the Mr Price exeprience they are taking home. Please address this matter urgently as we will not be visiting that outlet again. I am confident many other customers feel the same way.
