NOT TAKING OWNERSHIP FOR MISTAKES

4 Barclays colleagues went to the silver water crossing centre Mr Price home to purchase a sum of gifts, We took a clock from the shelf which was priced @ 59.99 in Bold Red, however when it was scanned it was then R169.99, the assistance did not hesitate and called her manager. The manger did not apologize and confronted us by saying he cannot give us for the price as it is not his problem that customers put things in the wrong place, he then went on to tell us that he does not have enough staff in the store to make sure that things are placed in the right place and mphome or himself cannot be held responsible for such. He never took us seriously and laughed @ the nature of the complaint. He then informed us that we could do whatever we wanted cause he was not prepared to assist us. According to The Customer Protection Act we have the right to fair and responsible marketing and as customers we cannot be held responsible for mistakes made by the store. After advising him that we would take the matter further he said that everything that he said in regards to the store and the service is off the record. We now question his position as we do not expect to get such from a store manage
