Sold my dress that was given in to be altered!

I handed in a jacket and a dress for alterations on the 5 January 2013. I was sent an sms on the 25 January 2013 saying that my stuff is ready for me to fetch. When I got there, the store was very busy so the sales consultant almost suggested I come back another day. When I had an unimpressed look on my face, she said she would go look for them. She returned with my jacket and to inform me that one of the sales reps have sold my dress as it was hanging on the rail in the back (even though it had a slip or some paper attached to it). So I didn't freak out... the store manager and sales consultant said that they would be happy to refund me or get me another dress (in which case I would have to go in to fit again and send it for alterations again). Seeing as though I wanted a complete suit (that's the reason I bought the dress and jacket!) I said that they should get me another dress (which is now on sale). This was last week Friday and I was told that the new dress would be in on the Monday that passed (28 January). I have yet to receive any calls or smses from anyone in Jenni Button. This is completely unacceptable from this type of retailer, especially since I spent more than R2000
