I have been trying to cancel my lost account card for 4 days now and I was unable to get through to anyone. I have emailed the request to [Email Removed] and I tried calling the number: 0860112442 numerous times - as indicated on my monthly statement. Seeing as though there is a good chance that someone might have my card, they might as well have spent all my credit by now. If Edcon issues me with a credit account card which is not protected by a pin, then it places a huge liability on me if I cannot cancel it immediately whenever it gets lost or. As a registered credit provider, do you not have an obligation by law to timeously cancel lost or credit account cards?
