There was a flash sale where purchases over R350 made between 10am and 12pm were entitled to R100 off. I selected my item to purchase and was checking out at 11:58. But the voucher code did not work because there was a system error that said the voucher code could not be found. When I got through to the call centre, the agent said that many people were complaining that their vouchers did not work as one of the digits was meant to be the letter O and not the number zero. I had inputted the number zero as it was ambiguous whether it is zero or O and it was an image file so the code could not be copied and pasted.By the time this was cleared up, it had been 12:03, by which time the voucher had expired.
Kalahari sent out emails with poorly generated voucher codes, you wasted my time in searching for a product that I wanted to purchase and in the end I did not get my discount. Is this your way of generating marketing hype but ensuring that as few people can benefit as possible? Worthless voucher!
