I bought a Samsung home theatre fron Game Canal Walk in August 2012. It has a two year guarantee. The dvd player started to malfunction, so I took it back to Game to be sent for repairs in 2 November 2013.
I received the 'fixed' dvd player back on 19 November. I even asked the customer service assistant whether it was fixed, as the document I received does not indicate whether the product was actually repaired.
Needless to say that when I tried to use the dvd player at home, it still did not work.
I went back to Game (for a third time now), having to use my petrol and paying the parking fee at the shopping centre again in the hope of getting a replacement or voucher, as the supplier could obviously not fix the dvd player. To my dismay I was told that Game can send the dvd player for repairs up to three times before considering a replacement or voucher.
My point is that if they could not fix the problem the first time, how will they fix the same issue by sending it back a second or even third time?
In the meantime I am without a working home theatre for probably more than a month, and I can almost guarantee it will not have been fixed when I have to go and fetch it from Game.
