In January 2013 I paid everything at Jet (Edcon) and closed my account. I called them to officially close my account and they confirmed it. Just yesterday I found out that I cannot apply with any store because I am a bad payer and when I check it was Edcon which I closed in January 2013.
I logged a querry with them at the store and they made me speak to people at their Head office and they promised to fix my problem. To my surprise today I received a letter to confirm that I paid my account in full and close it but they went on to say they cant do anything about updating my account with NCR because it is only updated monthly. I now have to wait for month end to be able to clear my name as a bad payer but I was never a bad payer and I did not skip paying. I acted faithfully but they did not do their duty. They can't tell me about updating monthly if they failed to update my account for the past 9 months. I want to be able to buy what I want to buy on my own time and now I can't. I am so sad and I would like my account to be updated and be cleared as soon as possible.
