I am absolutely shocked at the lack of assistance I received from the staff, management and security yesterday, 17/11/2013 from the East Rand Mall store after I reported that my handbag had possibly been in the store. There was no attempt from anyone to help search, view footage or attempt to help me what so ever! The security guard just said I should go to the tills, the manager who was sitting on the counter did not even get off to acknowledge me and just said that the cameras were only fixed on the till points and the door and that was it. The 2 staff members who were working in the vicinity where I think the bag was just shouted at other staff members and walked away. The store is so cramped, has very bad lighting and the isles are so narrow that people have to squeeze past each other to get through, making the customers easy targets. When I reported the matter to the police, one of the officers informed me that there had already been 3 cases of from Jet! Surely something needs to be done to try and rectify the problem. One thing is for sure... JET has lost another customer!
