FUNDAMENTAL right to privacy infringed and so was my dignity. I have never felt more humiliated in my life after leaving a store. I browsed around in store and couldnt find what I was looking for. On my way out I was stopped by security to have a look in my handbag. When I asked why, I was told that it is store policy to search every customer who leaves the store. While standing there another customer just walked out without being searched. Discrimination maybe? I went to the store in Maynard Mall and the store manager told me to check my bag in at the parcel counter and when if I want to pay for my purchase, I must wait at the till, get my purse from the parcel counter and pay for my goods. Where it name did you hear of such. Humiliated, p! ssed and violated, that is how I feel. I will never step foot in another Pepstores. That is why I prefer doing my shopping in the Northern suburbs where you get the respect you deserve.
