Was in pick n pay on Monday 3rd February around 7pm and did my shopping as usual, got to the till point and i had picked up a mop that was marked R 25 on the shelves only to find out that the bar code read R 50 instead,
i asked the cashier why the item was being charged double than the marked price, went back with another lady to check on the item and for sure it was marked R 25. So now on the till point there was a board written in bold "DOUBLE THE DIFFERENCE" and below it was written " If any item scans at a higher price than displayed on shelf and the the barcode corresponds, we will give you the item at the marked price, PLUS double the difference off the first item and the subsequent items at the lower price. but even after reading that board aloud to the manager and the cashier i still got bad attitude from them and they said that the message displayed is no longer valid and they just wanted me to leave for the store was about to close, i guess they are falsely advertising their products and from poor customers and still getting away with it
