Unfair billing

Last month i paid my account at foschini thats is in arrears whereby the cashier informed me that i need to contact Pienaar Sithole. My balance with foschini was R1200.I did contact them and they gave me their bank account where i should make payments into. Today i enquired about a settlement amount to settle the debt of R1200 only to find out that it is now almost R1500.00.Boitumelo informed me its for calls and sms they made but i was the one to contact them. My biggest issue here is how are we suppose to clear this debt while these attorneys add their own costs to these accounts. Does an sms cost R100.00 now. I really feel that us these Big retail stores like Foschini does not feel for the consumer. They just hand you over when you almost done paying your debt. I am truelly appalled by this situation.
