Just less than 2 yrs ago we bought a Verimark Hydro vacuum cleaner from the Verimark section of Game Cresta store. The sales consultant 'sold' us by reassuring us that the product had a 2 year, all inclusive guarantee, he literally said if ANYTHING goes wrong with the product within 2 years all we had to do was bring in the broken part and he would SWAP it for a new one.
Now the foot and the plastic clip that secures the top of the vacuum to the bottom is broken and when I take it back to 'swap for a working one' I'm told that only the motor is guaranteed, no parts (so I cant get a new working foot), and they will send the vacuum away but I will have to pay for the clip to be fixed (he also cant tell me how much so I cant decide if its worth sending away or not), and this can take up to 3 WEEKS!
If this is indeed the 'guarantee' and only the motor is insured then I feel completely!
