We purchased a vacuum (Verimark Corded) cleaner from Verimark just over 5 years ago. The other day we decided to buy a replacement filter due to the current one getting a bit old. When we visited the Verimark shop nearest us, we were told that the filters are no longer available (i.e. no replacement parts are being made/imported), due to the fact that the product is more than 5 years old. I find this unacceptable. The unit is in perfect working order, but because we cannot get a new filter, it will soon become nothing more than a fancy paper weight. I have bought numerous products from Verimark in the past, but am afraid that I will not do so again because of this part replacement policy. I will also not be able to recommend a Verimark product of this nature to anyone, as you are pretty much paying a premium for a product that will be rendered useless in 5 years' time. I hope that anyone reading this complaint will be dissuaded from doing so as well.
