One month after the two year guarantee expired the Genesis Hydrovac Turbo stopped working.
the motor had to be replaced and with it a service. The Hydrovac works twice weekly in a small house
It cost R500 to repair - what will it be in another two years. The lame excuse was there was a bit of rust
on the motors. Really!! For a vacuum that only works with water?? I see little value. I would rather buy a normal vacuum and replace the whole thing every two years. This is quite an expensive vacuum cleaner and advertised
as a vacuum of value with excellent cleaning capability. I also asked about the motor at time of purchase and was assured it was a capable motor.
