I went under debt review in Feb 2010. Debt Busters handled all my creditors and I have been paying Edgars an amount of R170 per month on my debt of R6900. My application for DR was granted in September 2011 and it was calc at 16% interest per anum. To date i have paid a total of R4742.81 to Edgars. I want to pay off my balance at the end of November but upon asking edgars to give me the balance due they said i will need to pay R6500 to settle my account. I found that a bit unbelieveable and have been trying, without success to contact edgars' debt review department for a detailed statement, since Wednesday last week. The number i was given by Edgars customer services just rings and rings. I have held on for 30 minutes where the call is just not answered. WHAT IS GOING ON IN THAT DEPARTMENT BECAUSE NO WORK IS BEING DONE IF NO ONE IS ANSWERING THE FREAKING CALLS! I STRONGLY SUGGEST THAT SOME ONE CONTACT ME ASAP OR I WILL BE LODGING A FORMAL COMPLAINT WITH THE NATIONAL CREDIT REGULATOR.
