INJURY IN STORE REFUSE TO ACCEPT LIABILITY

ON 28 APRIL 2011 MY MOM GOT INJURED IN THE KLERKSDORP ACKERMANS STORE AFTER SHE BUMPED AGAINST A LOOSE OBJECT IN THE STORE AND FELL AND FRACTURED HER UPPER ARM AND SHOULDER. A CLAIM WAS LAUNCHED WITH ACKERMANS AND AFTER TWO YEARS THE INSURERER RESPONDED ON 5 NOVEMBER 2013 THAT THEY "REJECT THE CLAIM IN ITS ENTIRETY AND WILL NOT BE ENTERTAINED UNDER THE INSURED'S GENERAL LIABILITY POLICY." THEY FURTHER, " MAKE NO ADMISSIONS REGARDING THE ALLEGED INCIDENT". WOW WHAT A DISGRACE! THE OLD LADY NOW SITS WITH A TROUBLED ARM AND SHOULDER THAT CAN ONLY BE USED 65% AND THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE FOR AIG ON BEHALF OF PEPCOR LTD T/A ACKERMANS. THE SHOP HAS IN THE MEANTIME CHANGED ITS MANAGER FOR REASONS THAT ARE ONLY KNOWN TO THEM???
