Poor service at Game Cape Town CBD Branch

I purchased an Seagate 1 Terabyte hard drive from the Cape Town branch of Game Stores

2 weeks later the hard drive completely stopped working on my p.c and I then took it back to the Game store where I had purchased it. I was "assisted' by a young man named Raafiq. I was given a voucher to the value of what I had spent for the hard drive and told that I would be given a call to tell me when I could pick up my new hard drive once the store had received stock.

After two weeks I had not received my call even though Game had advertised a special running from 19th June - 25th June in which they were selling the exact same hard drive. having seen this I went to the store and asked if they had stock of MY hard drive seeing as they were advertising it. I was told "no we dont have stock we only get our sale stock a few days after the promotion starts, but we will call you when it gets here"

I am disgusted to announce that i am still awaiting the call - a month after I had taken it back!!!

This is utterly unacceptable, having been a loyal Game customer for many years - especially for my electronic appliances - I am sorry to say that I have completely lost faith in the brand
