I wasted my entire Saturday 2 November 2013, at the HI FI Corp Menlyn. The most pathetic service ever. I went into the store at 9.30am to collect a cell phone. I had to wait 2hours because they could not find it. Eventually they found the phone but could not complete the transaction because Vodacom went offline. I also needed to purchase a fridge from the store but could not get any assistance. When I started making a noise I got some attention. this was already around 11.00am. I then had to stand around because no one knew about the make and model of the fridge. The sales lady was rude and arrogant. she walked away while I was talking.
I spent 4hrs in HI FI, I might as well got paid for the day. I needed the fridge early Saturday as the one I had was sold on Friday afternoon.By the time i finished in HI FI on Saturday all my meat and items from my fridge was spoilt. Who is going to compensate me for my time and food lost.
The manager on duty could not make a decision that took my entire day and made me lose R1 000 worth of frozen food (meat, veg).
HI FI Corp needs to employ competent people.
I want this addressed immediately.
