With an ever growing and competitive online market, within SA, there is no room for below par online service offerings The experience has been pretty awful from the start and is yet to be finalised. Order placed on the evening of 29th October. Four blank emails received from a dischem address once payment was successful via PayU. No actual confirmation of order from Dischem received (the blank mail with order # doesn't count). Emailed a query to the specified address asking if the order was successful as the website does offer detail of the orders progress. After not receiving a response I had to call to follow up, which kind of defeats the purpose of shopping online. Eventually got through to Sam and confirmed the order and if all products are available delivery will take place on 31st (Thurs) or 1st November (Fri). Again not able to track the transaction progress online. It now turns out that an item is not in stock and the delivery will only take place on Monday as deliveries are not done on weekends. Glitches are expected in new offerings, these those should be minor. The online offering, in its current state, is one big glitch!
