On Friday 25 January 2013 I purchased goods from Pick 'n Pay. I then decided to do a cash withdrawal of R700. It showed declined the first time and the cashier decided to use the speedpoint machine. It then approved my transaction. The following day i noticed that the transaction went thru twice.
On 28 January 2013 during my lunch time i went to Pick 'n Pay with my bankstatement and explained what happened. They then contacted the bank. I spent my entire lunch time there. The lady from customer service then said she will phone me back with feedback. Instead of phoning me, i had to phone her to follow up. She then requested me to come after work to confirm everything. I spent another half an hour just to find out that i have to go back the following day. I was there again today and spent another hour there for NOTHING. The lady who assisted me this time then kept on phoning the wrong number. I then requested to see the Store Manager and the refused to contact him.
They also promised me to phone me back in no time and suprize suprize, no call. 3 visits to Pick 'n Pay and don't know how many phone calls and I still didn't get my money.
PATHETIC!!!
