Pick n Pay has advertised that they grant customers one n half hour free parking at canal walk when one swipes your parking ticket at pick n pay.
On the 19/01/2013 I was on 2 occasions at PnP to buy groceries and had my parking card swiped but to my surprise when i arrived at the ticket machine i had to pay R8! I went back to PnP & was informed by the security that swipes your ticket that the new pay machines at canal walk do not work with the this swipe machine.
I then asked her why she still does this and she said the manager says she must still do it and that it's her job.
I do my grocery shopping at canal and choose PnP simply because I can save on my parking ticket. The security said that they know about the problem and that she's just doing what "they" tell her to do.
Is PnP trying to the customer by pretending that they granting this save in money?

I spent R16 where I should've spent nothing to park at canal walk to do my pick n pay shopping.
I want my money back! AND would like an answer to whether i should rather shop at checkers and inform all my friends and family about PnP new policy!
Please let me know.
