When my wife went to buy groceries she used the debit card, as we always do. The lady at the till swiped the card and the transaction went through as indicated buy the sms I received. But according to their machine it was declined! I had no more money in my account for another attempt and so the arguments ensued. My wife then, with great embarrassment, left the groceries and walked to the bank which is in the same complex. The bank confirmed that the transaction was successful and that SPAR just needs to phone them to confirm. When my wife returned to SPAR explaining this, they were very rude and still refused to release the groceries. So my wife now had to go home without our food for the week and I still sit without the money!
