I bought a few things on Sunday from the Foschini above. When I got home and unpacked, I realised there was a box of panties missing. I checked all my merchandise against the slip and realised that I paid for it, but it was not packed. The store was already closed, so I phoned on Monday, spoke to Kobie the store manager, who handed me over to Sina to deal with me. I explained to both of them that I live in Randfontein, but work in Randburg, and that I really need the panties and there is no ways I can be at the store before 17:00 in the afternoon. They just told me I must then get someone to do it on my behalf. Now, if this had been a mistake on my part, I would take full responsibility, but this was entirely their fault. On Sunday I stood in the queue for 20 minutes beacause there was only one cashier working on the Sunday after payday. I can't really blame Sipho for the mistake because he was the only cashier and everyone in the queue became agetated because of the wait and absolutely no aircon in the store, it was like shopping in.
The store could have at least offered to deliver to my home after hours.
