I purchased furniture at House and Home N1 City and was told that they would deliver the goods on 22 October 2013 at 17h30pm. I had to leave work early to make sure that I'll be there when they arrive that eve. At 17h50pm they still have not pitch nor made any contact with regards to the delivery being late, I called and spoke to a lady named Vuyo and she advised me that they will be picking the furninture up at 18h15pm at the store. Where i told her that i have a function to attend at 7pm so they should be no later than 18h45pm. Well 18h45pm i called the store and Vuyo then said that they leaving the store "'now'"with my goods to come and deliver it.By this time I was very upset as I'm running extremly late for my function. At 19h20pm I phoned House and Home and nobody answered, I then decided to wait till 19h40pm for my delivery, seeing that i was told they left at 18h45pm the evening. At 19h40 there was still no furniture delivered at my place and I left to go to my function. I then received a call at 21h15pm that eve to inform me they are in my area at that time. I had to leave the function and rush home to receive the delivery. I am very unhappy and wont recommend this branch.
