Bought R171 worth of Lindt stock on 16/10/2013.Upon arrival at work, discovered that Milk Thins expire on 21/10/2013.Wanted to give as a gift, but not appropriate given the expiry date. Returned 17/10/2013 to ask for better dated stock and to buy more stock. Owner started getting defensive saying I should have checked the expiry date before I bought it and I should "use my marbles" when purchasing from an outlet. I explained that I can accept a 30-day expiry date, but if the expiry date is within 3 days, I suggest he inform the customer when purchasing or perhaps put up a notice declaring that the stock is short-dated. When I said this, he got verbally abusive and raised his voice. He shouted at me, saying I have no right to criticise him and he has a licence for his shop? His extreme anger made me take a closer look at the other stock. I then noticed that the 500g bags of Lindor were repacked in plastic bags WITHOUT expiry dates! I hadn't even noticed this prior to his extreme reaction to my suggestions. He continued his abuse, saying" you are 1 in 52 million, I do not need your business". I was so shocked by his rudeness that I left immediately. He is a bad brand ambassador for Lin
