Had enough experience of being overcharged by Pick n Pay this year alone but the complaints procedure does not work so no point in formally lodging a complaint.
Went into Westville Village Market at 15h32, discovered I was overcharged on 3 line items viz Milk, Honey, Nestle Slab. Went over to the customer service counter and it was empty - then glum-faced David appears and I explained to him I was overcharged.
Instead of giving me a refund as per Scanrite policy he suggests he will give me the back the difference. Says he cant give me a refund because its not his fault the prices are wrong! When I insist on him honoring the policy he says "Fine if you want to be like that".
David did not have a nametag, I had to get his name from staff. He had a poor attitude, definitely needs to be sent for Customer Service training by Pick N Pay.
How many other customers were ripped off TODAY alone by Pick N Pay? All the items I purchased were advertised specials.
Public BEWARE- their online complaints site does not work |(I told them about it months ago) and they ignore complaints i.e. dont get back to you hoping you will forget about it.
Vitality is the only reason I shop at PNP.
