For my birthday this week my fiance bought me a bottle of my favourite perfume from Foschini store in Irene Mall. Hypnotic Poison from Dior. At the time he was there he asked the staff if the bottle he bought is the only options available and they advised him there are only 2, one in a red box and one in a purple box.
The morning of my birthday I just couldn't wait to open the box and smell, but to our big surprise it was not the right bottle of perfume.
We went to the Centurion store where they advised us that they may not exchange it because the wrapping was taken off.
I feel when it is an honest mistake like this, the store can accommodate their loyal customers. Surely Foschini can use this bottle, that didn't even spray once, as a Tester atleast rather than just saying, Sorry. It is a very expensive bottle of perfume that is now going to waste and leaving me a very disappointed birthday girl not even to mention a very disappointed customer.
