I purchased a 47 inch 3D LED LG TV (Model 47LM4600) on 29 December 2012 for R7999 from Hifi Corp Canal Walk. The tv is hardly a month old and has switched off on its own twice. I called in to report the incidences and was told if this had happened within 14 days I would have received a brand new tv. Now they intend to send repair guys, yet the tv is hardly a month old. How can a tv that's hardly a month old require repairing? I should be getting a brand new replacement as I have hardly used the tv. The TV was clearly faulty and its unfair for me to have to settle for a faulty product.
