Faulty Samsung 3D Full HD Ready Plasma TV, 51 inch

10/02/2013 - bought a Samsung 51 inch TV, model PS51E550D1RXXA
18/11/2013 - took the TV in for repairs. Problem: solid vertical green line appeared on the one end of the TV
08/12/2013 - collected TV after repairs
11/01/2014 - noticed for the 3rd time that there is a black strip that forms in the middle of the screen after switching the TV on.

I phoned the store to find out the way forward and spoke to Russel Paulse. He said I may need to bring the TV in for repairs. I said I had reservations since this would be the 2nd time in just over a month from the last repair. I told him that I bought other brand TV's before and never experienced problems in the 1st year or even years of purchase. He promised to arrange for a Samsung rep or Dept. Manager to call me. He advised that a manager can arrange a supplier-refund.
Dineo Mashabe (Samsung store rep) called and argued for a 2nd repair. I asked as to how many repairs need to be done before acknowledging a faulty product. Dineo tells me 3 repairs. I asked that I speak to a manager in the multi-media manager, Mark Liebenberg, without success. He did not return my call.
NB: there were chirps & scratches on the set after the 1st repair.
