On 19 Janaury 2013 I bought a Devy Tumble Drier in Durban, but found the item not up to my expectations when I used it during that week. I phone customer care and they informed me that they have a 14 day back money gaurantee if you are not happy with the item and I must return it to my nearest shop.
I took the machine back to Makro in Pietermaritzburg being the area I reside it on 25 January 2013. They refused to take the item back from telling me it is now second had as I tried it, very confused as to how must I see if I am happy with the item by just looking at it. I found Trienie Naidoo and VJ Naidoo being rude and very unfair when dealing with me walking away and not making a effort to assist.
Mr Jay Soobramonien was however very helpfull and understanding, but at the end I had to go home with the machine. Makro should really invest in a good customer support group aswell as training there staff as to how to deal with customers. We are the income of these stores, but get treated with no respect at all.
Makro lacks customer support, the last time I was in Makro 2 people left the lines due to incorrect pricing resulting in over charging, are they looking after us?
