Faulty Lenovo Laptop Charge

I buy most of my electronic appliances from Makro as i always believed they have a no nonsense repair or replacement policy but was disillusioned when i had to return a faulty item for the first time ever... I bought a Lenovo Laptop from Makro Springfield Durban, which i use very sparingly and its 11 months old and still has a month and half warranty left... The Laptop charger suddenly went dead and i went to the return it to the Makro Return Counter and was told the warranty does not cover the charger... i should read the warranty card... I asked for the manager and was told the same thing... I found no warranty CARD but just the original manufacturer's warranty documents and could not find any mention of the charger being not under warranty... There is no where in the box or outside that specifically states Makro's policy regarding the non-warranty of the charger... I think Makro is unfair to customers and passing the buck... i subsequently opened the charger unit and found the components blown inside... well, either Lenovo quality is bad or Makro is not willing to fulfill Lenovo's warranty... Makro's return policy is hidden in salesman talks and not on paper ..
