I have an account at Lewis furniture Stores. I bought a bed and 3-piece tv set at Lewis stores. I had a freakish knee injury in June of this year, and had to undergo surgery on the knee. I was booked of work for -3 months and only returned in Sept. Due to me being booked of for such a long period of time I utilised up all of my sick leave, which mean I had to take unpaid days. Due to that I haven't been getting a full salary in June, and no salary for months July, August and September. I have been calls from the Store recently, and I've expalined that I've been off work, and that I'm a single, widowed parent, raising three kids. Today I get a call from the store manager, first asking to speak to my HR department, but fortunately I answered the phone. She said she needed a payment before one 'oclock tomorrow, because head office demanded one, or else theyll re-possess. I explained my situation to her, and that I wilbe getting a salary on the 25th of October shsaid she can't accept my reasons. I even told her she can speak to my HR department, but she refused. I find this strange, because I've been struggling to get the store to come sort out the bed I bought from them for over 3months now, without succes.
