APPALLING SERVICE

Ret faulty Hard Drive, bought in 2012, to store. No longer hve proof of purch. & asked store to check on system, as it was bought on edgars acc. Asst not very helpful, he tested unit, declared it faulty then stated it only had a 12mnth warranty. I showed him the packaging clearly stated 24mnth warranty, I asked him to check the system for the purchase he said he could'nt check & called someone at the back at the store, while waiting for other person to come, he cont his personal conversation with another employee. After waiting 10mins, I interrupted the personal conversation and stated that I did not have whole night to wait, and he should go fetch the person. When eventually this person put in an appearance, it was only to "book in the faulty unit" and to tell me that she could only check for the invoice during the following week, she was busy with stock-taking. 3 wks later when I called to follow up, I was told to cont customer services myself for a copy as the store could not help me with this. getting the requested info from customer service has proven to be another nightmare, they've referred me back to the store
