I bought my laptop from Hi-Fi Corporation on 12/07/2011 that came with a store warranty for 1year, that expires 12/07/2012
I took on a further extended warranty that expires 12/07/13.
Software problem encountered & submitted to Hi-Fi Corp service centre on 13/3/13.
Unit outsourced to Reddington IT Services & repaired by 29/01/13. Additional R400 payment for software problems not covered by warranty.
No call to fetch unit. I had to go to the centre to fetch my unit on 02/03/13
Paid the R400. Teller refused to put the unit on & show me that the problem was solved.
Open the bubble wrap of the unit at home & discovered extensive scratch marks on the cover, pirates parts, all the data erased, & on top of it all the microsoft programmes still didnt work.
Gave the unit back on 03/02/13 waiting almost an hour for Deon, the manager to attend to me.
I did not receive any feedback from anyone in the store with whats happening. I went to the store almost every week after the 03/02/13 & was told that they are very busy & working on my problem.
It is now almost 3 months that I have no laptop & stilL NO FEEDBACK tell me what is happening.
PATHETIC DISMAL UNACCEPTABLE SERVICE
WILL NOT BUY HERE!!
