Towards the end of last season I bought my wife a beautiful summer dress that she has had her eye on for quite some time. She had tried it on many times and I knew her size (8) and the exact dress she wanted. The dress went into the cupboard for winter and today she took it out to wear and finds that it is huge on her! The label says 8 but the cut is clearly wrong!!! So she went into the store and told them that the size is incorrect on the dress compared to other sizes and she discovered it's a size 12 not a size 8 as the label states! The staff are not prepared to do anything, they just say sorry that the sizing is wrong on the dress. The Ops Manager isn't prepared to take responsibility for it as it's the factories fault! Now these dresses don't come cheap! (Marked down from R1199 to R499 on sale.) Because it's a sale item, she even said that she doesn't expect another same dress, I understand as that was this past summer session clothes, but heck, they aren't even bothered to make a plan to correct their factory mistake! Very disappointing to experience as my wife has loved the Brand since seeing it in Oz and was so excited to find in SA. We may as well throw the dress away!
