On October 18th 2013, I had visited the Foschini Store in Midrand to return a dress which I bought from another branch. The dress was originally plus minus R500 and in a further 25% off reduced price, it went for R164. You can imagine the number of people that had bought and returned the dress. The cashier, Dyna, excused herself and called the Store Manager, Susan. The Manager was very rude and told me that I had worn the dress! I said to her that I am a size 10 and that dress is a size 20. I purchased the dress for my dressmaker to alter to my fit but was advised that it is too big and will lose shape. I then brought it in to return. She still insisted that I had worn the dress! Her exact words was "Well, I am telling you that you had worn the dress." I felt degraded and humiliated by that comment. I handled my account throughout the years in an excellent manner. I am done with Foschini. I intend on closing this account as soon as possible. I may be a drop in the ocean for Foschini but I was a good customer that you have now lost for R164! I am no and will not wear a size 20 dress on my size 10 body! The bar code should prove how many times the dress was returned!!
