I went to Limpopo to visit my grandmother this weekend. On Sat i went to the new Elim mall to get a few items. The store is filthy amongst other things, they sell cow heads and there is blood all over the place on the floor which seemed very unhyginic and very low for Spar standards. I bought a 10 liter bottle of water and put it in the car, to my suprise the water spilled out of the bottle and into the car by the time i got home and when i checked the bottle was not properly sealed and looked like it had been opened before, this is very suprising and left me wondering if it was still water in the bottle or tap water since the bottle was not sealed. I paid for this water but did not get to use it as it had spilled in the boot of my car and i had to take it to a car wash to have it dried and finding a car wash in Giyani is not an easy task. I know how excellent Spar service is and what i saw at Spar Elim mall is plain disgusting for the lack of a better word, if they want to render such pathetic service to customets then they should not do it under Spar name cause it is ruining the reputation and i would'nt walk into that store ever again even if i was paid to do so!
