It's with utter annoyance that I opened a 2L full cream milk bottle from Fair Cape this morning only to find that it has gone off, . This is the SECOND time that I have bought Fair Cape milk from the SPAR in Gape Gate and the second time that it has been off, BEFORE the expire date.
In the first instance I luckily found the receipt and after a lot of hassle I managed to exchange it, only to be told they are sorry but a few people have bought milk back and they (SPAR) know there is a problem. So if that is the case how come the same thing has happened again??
I unfortunately cant find the receipt for when I purchased the milk yesterday so will not be able to return it, so I am stuck with an almost R20 bottle of milk that will have to go into the bin.
I find the entire experience has left me with a bad taste in the mouth, pardon the pun, I can safely say I will be driving past the SPAR to the local Checkers/PicknPay and will definitely not be buying Fair Cape products of any nature in future and will not be able to recommend them either.
