I purchased clothes with my cheque card (FNB) it is a Visa card but a debit card and not a credit card. Upon returning the clothes Woolworths refused to refund me with cash and insisted that they had to refund it on the debit card because it is a Visa. Although I explained that it is as good as cash when you purchase with a debit card and that all the new debit cards are a Visa or MasterCard they refused to refund me with cash. The money was taken out of my account immediately when I purchased the items.
I know have to wait 10 to 14 working days for my money!!
Totally unacceptable, upon complaining they could only offer me a oh no sorry we should have given you the money!
