On the 07/09/2013 my fiancee and I decided to purchase a pair of shoes (sku 50245390) at Truworths-Newcastle Mall in preparation for her graduation ceremony. Whn she tried them on all was good they marched with her outfit perfectly and look like a decent pair since we paid R380.But the problem started when she wore them on the day of the ceremony the small rubber cushioning the hill just couldn't hold up it started chipping away and by midday it completely fell-off. Whn we tried to return the pair we were told that she should have nt walked on gravel surfaces. It was my first time hearing that a shoe should be worn only on a particular surface. If then that is the case they should put labels such as ''warning to be worn only inside the house'' what a pathetic response from a supposedly reputable establishment. It is quite disappointing that a once reputable store has resorted to selling knock-offs to boost it revenue. The srvice was worse then what I get from my local municipal office and they are under administration. Whn a store is small it's able to grow by making you the consumer feel that your valued, it's a pity that once companies are listed the focus is on headline earnings
