I bought a shoe on the 06/08/2013 at Truworths Gateway it was the last pair size 4, the sales assistant told me that the other shoe was a display shoe so I accepted and purchased the shoe, my feet were swollen after a whole day shopping so I didn't try it on, later when I got home I rested and tried it on and walked a few steps in my bedroom and it was tight so the next day I took it back to return at the Truworths Phoenix Plaza. The cashier looked at the shoe and said that I had worn them I said I haven't and it was a last pair display shoe when I purchased it, the manager was on a personal phone call so the cashier asked him about the shoe, so he looked at the shoe and said he can't accept it and insisted I had used them with a bad attitude so I asked for the head office phone number. I went back to gateway and I received excellent service from staff and manager, and the cashier said that you couldn't have used 1 shoe and laughed when I explained my ordeal, and with a smile refunded me. Truworths phoenix should have the manager changed as I have been shopping there for over 9 years and never have i experienced such bad service from a store manager.
