WHY CHANGE WHAT I CHOSE #DECEPTION

On Sunday 08 September 2013 I went to Spitz at South Gate Mall to purchase a pair of shoes. I got to the store and fitted the shoes on and they fitted perfectly. So I paid R1400 for the shoes that I had fitted on and left the store. A few minutes later one of the ladies from the store tracked me down in the mall and asked me to follow her back to the store. Upon my arrival, I was told that I was given the incorrect size and that it needed to be exchanged, which I did. I took the shoes home still under the impression that I had the shoes that I fitted on because that is what I had chosen. Yesterday (09 September 2013) I wore the shoes to work and I am convinced that these are not the shoes I fitted on in the store. These shoes are tight and uncomfortable. What really irks me is that now that I have worn the shoes, I cannot have them exchanged. So I am stuck with a pair of R1400 shoes that I cannot wear. If this is how Spitz staff their customers, then you can be certain that this is the very last time I will ever walk into any Spitz store in the country. I had intended to go back this weekend to purchase another pair of shoes. But that idea will remain just that, an IDEA.
