I am very upset and disgraced with the way staff at the Ackermans in east rand mall treated my grandmother.
She had gone to Ackermans and was ready to pay for the goods, whilst at the till she was told by the cashier that the red pants she wanted to purchase was for "charity" only as it had a marked down red sticker on.
Yet the dress she wanted to purchase also had a red sticker one but the cashier let her buy the dress but would not let her buy the pants, unless she paid the full price.
Then my gran wanted to purchase a pair of size 32 polka dot shorts but the tag had been misplaced, she then brought the exact same pair of pants just one size smaller so the cashier could use that as a reference for the price, the cashier said no she will not purchase those shorts for the price marked down she had to pay full price, even though both shorts were identical.
I am disgusted how she treated my gran and took advantage of her as she is of age. Please help to get this ignorant lady the justice she deserves. What makes me think, Is my gran the first elderly women targeted or what was the cause of this i rate pure SPITE.
