I have had many unsatisfactory experiences at this store and try to avoid it, but it is not always possible due to logistics and time constraints. I needed a few items urgently and quickly and was in the mall. My first problem was that one of the items was not priced - so I let it go, as I know from experience that it could take a very long time for an assistant get the price. Then the cashier short changed me. When I drew her attention to it, I got a very insincere apology, had to wait for authorisation - no greeting or apology from the supervisor, and received my R10.00 shortfall WITHOUT HER EVEN TAKING A GLANCE AT MY CHANGE OR SLIP. She knew exactly how much to give me. I find that very suspicious and wonder how often it happens. Where are the days that cashiers gave you your change while counting out loud, e.g. 50, 70. 75, 78? Nowadays they do a balancing trick with the till slip and change in one hand and if you are fumbling with a purse, handbag parcels, etc. it is very difficult to control. More supervision is required - do you keep track of the specific cashiers and incidents like these? Surely if they know it is being listed they will be more careful?
