Cashiers need a wake up call!!!

Two incidents to be reported, same branch at Westville mall. Not impressed by cashier and packer who were examining two of the items I bought, asked me what it was and then proceeded to laugh and have a conversation about it in Zulu. This is not the first time it's happened! Next incident was today. I had four items in my trolley so I went to the express till. The board clearly says 10 items or less. There were 3 people in the queue. A gentleman with a full trolley went to the cashier (only one cashier at the express till). She didn't say anything about the number of items he had. She then called the supervisor to sort out some problem and he didn't say anything either. The cashier was totally oblivious to the rest of us standing in the queue and proceeded to have a long conversation with the gentleman. This is not the first time I've seen this happen. There were only 3 other tills open, all the queues were long. Needless to say I emptied my basket and went to Woolies. What is the point of having an express till when there is no control??? Also, what right do the cashiers and packers have to question customers about what they buy???
