A number of years ago I had a whole spate incidents where Clicks cashiers did not give me the correct change; to the extent that I wrote to their and accused them of deliberately training their cashiers to shortchange customers where the amount was 5c.. They subsequently seemed to have rectified the situation.
BUT - a few weeks ago I again encountered this problem at the above branch. I phoned a Mr Van Den Aardweg, the executive who contacted me after the previous incidents. He undertook to rectify the position.
Today I again went to the Clicks Farrarmere and had exactly the same experience. I have never had this experience at stores such as Pick n Pay or DisChem - only at Clicks. The cashier who short-changed me was Maxwell Maseko who seemed to think it was a bit of a joke. Clicks needs to employ cashiers who know the difference between honesty and!
