After going through Aluvi Boutique and Spa Hotel's website, I was interested in their special "Spa Weekend Getaway 2013 Stay on a Friday or Saturday and receive 1 Full Body Massage, Breakfast for 2, Box of Chocolates, Sparkling Wine and free use of the outdoor Jacuzzi. All this for only - R890-00 in a Luxury Room"
I booked through Hotel Express and I got charged R900 & R450 was deducted from my account on the 11th April 2013. When we got to the hotel we were forced to for the body massage and the breakfast and there were no box of chocolates and the sparkling wine too. I asked the hotel to bake a cake for my friend as it was her birthday. Only when we were checking did we realise that the cake was bought from Woolworths and we were R250. We were also triple charged for accommodation and also charged for the spa. The owner/manager was not interested in resolving this matter. What they advertise as luxury rooms in actual fact is not luxury rooms, it's standard rooms. I paid for disgusting service and I really feel robbed by Aluvi Boutique and Spa Hotel. Their clients must double check their billing before they pay otherwise they will pay for extra services that they did not receive.
