Unwanted Cell phone contract

I received a SMS on the 14th of September asking me if I would like R49 airtime for R36 that will be deducted from my Edgars account. Then last week and Wednesday I receive a SMS that my contract has now been activated.

Contract? The SMS said absolutely nothing about a contract. So I start calling their customer service after the number that they gave in the SMS ended up being vodacoms that said they had nothing to do with it.

The first time I was told that I will have to wait 48 hours for someone to call me back who will help me cancel. No call since. I called again on Saturday hoping that I will be called back still no call. I was talking to one of my friends and she told me that the exact same thing has happened to her less then a month ago and she has no reply till now.

This morning I called again and this is why I am writing this, someone picks up and what do u know. They don't answer you. I'm shouting hello hello like a crazy person and they just don't answer you.

I need someone to call me today to cancel or I will be forced to take this matter much further. I don't take false advertising well at all.
